Getting Into A Good College

   Education gives us all knowledge. Its a key through which we can rule the world. If you're educated, wherever you go and whatever you do, you will always have confidence. You will succeed and make it in life. If you're not educated you may not be able to understand and do certain things life has to offer.
   The first step to getting into a good college is  getting a high GPA. From what I am hearing college can be tough. You need to have an impressive transcript so you can have the job that you want. As  for the Fashion Institute of Technology expects incoming freshman's of a GPA of 3.0.                        
   In order to get a GPA of 3.0, you have to want it. Meaning you will be ready to sacrifice things, Such as going out with you friends. As in high school, grammar school, and college you must be willing to give up most of the entertainment and outings that you're use to.
   The second thing you must do is get a high SAT score. The SAT is an exam intended to measure your academic readiness for college. In someway the SAT can start to seem like an overwhelming and stressful task.Most students take the SAT during their junior or senior year of high school. At least half of all students take the SAT twice in the spring as a  junior and in the fall as a senior. Most students improve their score the second time they take the SAT.
  You must pick a highly ranked college and have an interest in mind that you want to study. Since there are steps in which you need to go through to reach that final step, your mind must be set and ready to go. You must be focus, ready and available for all that will be needed to get you in the door.
In conclusion , Navigating college and high school is difficult but with a little effort you can make the right moves.
   Seeking help from your counselor, going to educational fairs or even getting advice from other college students will definitely be a step in the right direction. You can also visit different campuses, and open house to get a feel of what the college is about and if its the right one for you.
